The Institute for Study Abroad, Butler University (IFSA-Butler) was established in 1988 as a not-for-profit organization. Its mission is to offer a variety of study abroad opportunities to college students as well as personal and academic support services. These are aimed at qualified US undergraduate students, who wish to earn academic credit by embarking on a study abroad program. Such options are offered in countries like Argentina, Australia, Chile, China, Costa Rica, Egypt, England, India, Israel, Mexico, New Zealand, Northern Ireland, Peru, the Republic of Ireland, Scotland, Sharjah UAE and Wales. Assistance is offered to students from the time they apply until after they return, whilst the organization’s offices in the countries listed provide support throughout the students’ stay there. The Institute for Study Abroad is registered in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
