Description

Ithaca College is a private institution founded in 1892 as a music conservatory. It is located in the South Hill of Ithaca, New York, but is known internationally for its communications program, provided by the Roy H. Park School of Communications. Four other schools offer more than 100 degree programs: School of Business; School of Health Sciences and Human Performance; School of Humanities and Sciences; and School of Music. The college’s main focus is on liberal arts, but a couple of pre-professional programs are available as well as graduate ones. It is known to be a center of a sophisticated cultural community, while its master’s programs have been ranked among the top ten in the North.
