English Communication Skills

The Universidad Interamericana de Panamá recognizes the importance of English communication in an ever-increasing globalized world, and thus offers a number of courses and specialty programs in that language.  Both students and teachers can access English certification programs, such as the Cambridge University Press, Cambridge ESOL Exams, and the Bell Education Trust.

UIP integrates a truly global vision, one that is accomplished through the resources and services of the Laureate network.  The school offers study exchange programs thanks to its affiliation with several partner universities throughout the world, giving its students the chance to study abroad while also hosting hundreds of foreign students over the years that have come to study in Panama.

UIP encourages a high level of interaction between students and faculty.  Moreover, the school sponsors many programs and internships that provide students the unique opportunity to apply what they have learned in the classroom setting via a variety of practical real-world experiences prior to their graduation.

Leadership Skills

The educational model at UIP allows students to develop critical thinking and leadership skills, and every individual is given countless opportunities to work collaboratively in a team setting as a way to solve problems and generate new ideas.

In addition to the classroom experience, where assistance from instructors is abundant, the students at UIP are given all the additional support they need to be successful.  This includes tutoring services and a number of technological tools and platforms.
