The University of Graz (Universität Graz) is a university in the Austrian city of Graz. Its main building is at Universitätsplatz 3, and its buildings are spread across the city, including the University Library, the RESOWI Centre for social and economic sciences, the Wegener Centre for Climate and Global Change, the Centre for Molecular Biosciences, a Botanical Garden and the UNI Sports Centre Rosenhain.

The university offers study programmes at three levels:

  • Bachelor's and diploma programmes
  • Master's programmes
  • Doctoral and PhD programmes

Alongside teaching and research, it runs a public programme of lectures, symposia and continuing education events, such as an interdisciplinary symposium on science and art and career workshops for students. The university has taken part in the EU Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) for ten years. Students are represented by the Austrian Students' Union at the university (ÖH Uni Graz).
