Central European University (CEU) is a graduate-level educational institution, based in Budapest, Hungary. It receives over 1500 students from 100 different countries and is accredited in both the United States and Hungary. The school provides degrees in the social sciences, humanities, law, public policy, business management, environmental science, and mathematics. More specifically, there are one-year master degree programs in Central European History, Economic and Legal Studies, Gender Studies, Human Rights, International Relations and European Studies, Medieval Studies, and others; two-year master degree programs in Philosophy, Political Science, Public Policy, etc.; as well as doctoral programs in Cognitive Science, Comparative Gender Studies, Comparative History of Central, Southeastern and Eastern Europe, Economics, and others.
