The Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien (WU Vienna) is a university of economics and business in Vienna, Austria. It has its own campus of about 90,000 m² in the city, and according to its website it has 7,753 international students and 240 partner universities. According to the university, it holds a triple accreditation that only 1% of higher education institutions worldwide have, and five of its master's programmes are in the top 30 of the QS ranking.
WU offers three bachelor's programmes, each lasting six semesters (180 ECTS credits):
- Wirtschafts- und Sozialwissenschaften (WiSo; economics and social sciences), taught in German, with majors in business administration, international business, economics, business informatics, and economy, environment and politics
- Business and Economics (BBE), taught in English
- Wirtschaftsrecht (JUS+; business law), taught in German and followed by a four-semester master's degree
Its International Office manages exchange programmes with partner universities, Erasmus+ semesters and internships, double degree programmes, and international short programmes and summer universities. The university also publishes a guide for international students and lists scholarships for bachelor's students.
