Ahsanullah University of Science & Technology

Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) is a private university in Dhaka, Bangladesh, founded in 1995 by the Dhaka Ahsania Mission, a non-profit voluntary organisation established in 1958 by the educationist Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah. According to the university, AUST was the first private university in Bangladesh to receive a permanent charter from the government. The campus is at 141-142 Love Road, in the Tejgaon Industrial Area of Dhaka.

Teaching focuses on engineering, architecture, business and education, organised in four faculties:

• Faculty of Engineering: bachelor's degrees in Civil, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronic, Textile, Industrial and Production, and Mechanical Engineering
• Faculty of Architecture and Planning: Bachelor and Master of Architecture
• Faculty of Business and Social Sciences: BBA, MBA and Executive MBA
• Faculty of Education: Master of Education

Master's programmes are also offered in Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Mathematics. The academic year is divided into Spring and Fall semesters. The university's Electrical and Electronic Engineering programme has been reaccredited by the Board of Accreditation for Engineering and Technical Education (BAETE). Undergraduate and postgraduate admission is handled through a separate admission website, where fee structures are published; postgraduate applications can be submitted online.
