American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB)

American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) is a university in Dhaka, Bangladesh, with its campus at Kuratoli, Khilkhet. It has five faculties: Arts and Social Sciences, Business Administration, Engineering, Health and Life Sciences, and Science and Technology. The university reports 39,460 graduates to date. The campus includes a library, laboratories, a sports complex, a gymnasium, study areas and an amphitheatre.

AIUB offers bachelor's degrees in English, journalism and mass communication, law, economics, business administration, architecture, several engineering fields (computer, electrical and electronic, industrial and production), computer science and engineering, data science, computer networks and cyber security, pharmacy, microbiology, and biochemistry and molecular biology. Graduate programmes include an MBA and an Executive MBA and master's degrees in English, development studies, law, public health, electrical and electronic engineering, telecommunication and computer science.

Admission rounds are held for the Fall and Spring semesters: applicants submit an online form and then sit a written admission test and a viva examination on campus. Foreign applicants need an equivalence certificate for their 12 years of schooling for some programmes, and can apply to the Bachelor of Pharmacy only for seats reserved by the Government of Bangladesh. AIUB also takes part in international projects such as the Erasmus SOHO project and engineering exchange programmes.
