Bond University is a non-profit university, serving the educational needs of students in Robina, Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. Bond has distinguished itself from other Australian universities with the fact that it schedules three semesters each year, starting in January, May and September. This allows for a six-semester degree to be completed in two years, instead of three, without increasing semester workloads. Furthermore, Bond University is the highest rating Australian university in the independent 2012 Good Universities Guide. The school is organized into the following faculties and institutes: Faculty of Business, Faculty of Health Sciences & Medicine, Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences, Faculty of Law, and the Institute of Sustainable Development & Architecture. The school also hosts Bond College (providing university pathway programs), and the Bond University English Language Institute.
