Brewster Madrid is a K-12 American school in Madrid, opened in 2023 as part of the network of Brewster Academy, a school founded in 1820 in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire (United States). It has two campuses: Chamberí, in central Madrid (Calle Eloy Gonzalo), and La Moraleja, just outside the city. Both follow Brewster's shared programme and educational philosophy.
Students can work towards the American High School Diploma and take Advanced Placement (AP) courses; the school has announced that the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme will be offered at the La Moraleja campus. Teaching follows the "Brewster Model", a team-based, collaborative and student-centred approach. The school reports more than 400 students from 45 countries and an average class size of 15. Learning expeditions in and around Madrid are part of the curriculum, students can choose from more than 20 afternoon activities, and a university counselling team supports applications to universities worldwide.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis from Kindergarten to Upper School. Families submit an inquiry, meet the school online or on campus, and then complete the application; a decision is usually given within two weeks.
