Castle School of English is an independent English language school in the heart of Brighton, a coastal city in England. It is accredited by the British Council and is a short walk from Brighton railway station and less than ten minutes on foot from the beach. Adult courses are open to students from the age of 16, with a maximum of 12 students per class (often around eight).

A weekly activity programme mixes free and paid activities, including local events and day trips to places such as Stonehenge and London. After enrolment the school issues an acceptance letter that students can use for their visa application, and it can recommend a visa agent.

Housing
The school arranges homestays with English-speaking host families, which it inspects. Rooms have at least a standard-size bed, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers, a table, a chair and a study lamp, and are cleaned weekly with fresh bed linen and towels. Meals are half-board: the host provides breakfast and the evening meal.
