The University of Brighton is a university in Brighton, a seaside city on the south coast of England about one hour from London by train. Its buildings are spread across the city. The university has around 2,500 international students, and staff and students come from more than 150 countries.

Courses include work placements, and Masters students can add an industry placement or research year. International students in their first year of a bachelors or masters course are guaranteed the offer of a room in halls of residence if they accept their offer and apply by the deadline. Support for international students includes an orientation programme, visa advice from immigration specialists, a personal tutor and an English language support service.
