Colegio Oficial de Ingenieros Industriales de Madrid

The Colegio Oficial de Ingenieros Industriales de Madrid (COIIM) is the professional association of industrial engineers in Madrid. Its Madrid office is at Javier Ferrero 10, and it has offices and delegations in other cities, including Ciudad Real, Guadalajara, Toledo and Valladolid. It is not a university: it brings together engineering professionals and students, and offers continuing education for engineers.

According to the association, it has been running training courses for more than 20 years. It is an Authorized Training Partner (ATP) of the Project Management Institute (PMI). Its training covers:

• Technical courses in specific areas of engineering
• Cross-disciplinary courses in areas such as environment, quality and safety
• Management training for roles in company management
• Preparation for public-sector competitive exams (oposiciones) for industrial engineers
• Programmes such as "De Ingenieros a Directivos" (PID), run with EOI

COIIM also organises technical conferences, cultural visits and leisure events; since September 2024 some of them are charged. Students on an engineering bachelor's or master's degree can join as student associates.
