Fundación Universidad Empresa
Higher education centre, Graduate school in Madrid, Spain
The Fundación Universidad-Empresa (FUE) is a Spanish foundation that has acted since 1973 as a meeting point between universities and companies. It works to train young people and connect them with employers, within a framework of public-private collaboration, and is active in four areas: talent, training, innovation and entrepreneurship.
For students and recent graduates, its main services are:
- Talentoteca, a portal with curricular internships, employability workshops, postgraduate programmes and first-job opportunities
- Talent programmes designed together with universities and companies' HR departments
- Training in Talentoteca: 100 courses in different areas, levels and lengths
- Key Days: postgraduate specialisation courses and sessions on transversal skills, each led by an expert
FUE also trains the company tutors of students on internships, through Tutorama and a microcredential for tutors, and has supported entrepreneurship projects for more than 20 years. Since 2015 it has worked with the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid to encourage interest in scientific and technical degrees, for example through children's workshops and sponsorship of the First Lego League. For companies, it offers recruitment, employer branding and strategic consulting on young talent.
