Lapland University of Applied Sciences (Lapland UAS) in Finland offers bachelor's degree programmes taught in English, combining academic study with practical training and close links to working life. Its engineering programme in English is now the Bachelor of Engineering, Machine Learning and Data Engineering, which covers AI, machine learning, data management and programming.
From August 2026 the English-taught bachelor's programmes are:
- Bachelor of Engineering, Machine Learning and Data Engineering
- Bachelor of Business Administration, with specialisations in Business and Talent Development or International Sport Business Management
- Bachelor of Health Care, Nursing
- Bachelor of Hospitality Management, Tourism
- Bachelor of Sports Studies (from 2027)
The programmes usually take 3.5 to 4 years and include basic, professional and elective courses, practical training and a bachelor's thesis. They meet European Qualifications Framework level 6 (EQF 6) and are funded by the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture. Lapland UAS has been audited by FINEEC and holds a quality label awarded in 2024. Applications for all programmes are made through the Studyinfo.fi service.
