The American college of Greece was founded in 1875 as a private institute, comprising of three departments: PIERCE (Secondary education centre), DEREE (Higher education centre) and ALBA (Graduate Business School) at ACC. ACC divides into two main campuses: Aghia Paraskevi (suburbs of Athens) & Athens. The DEREE College has two academic units: School of Arts & Science and School of Business Administration. DEREE College runs a unique Libra group program, which selects deserving candidates for study abroad purposes in U.S or Europe and then provides internship opportunities at Libra Group or its other corporate members around the globe. Furthermore, the college is famous for organizing OPEN HOUSES to raise money for charitable purposes. The college is endorsed by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.
