The Escuela Oficial de Idiomas de El Ejido is a public school of the Andalusian regional education department (Junta de Andalucía) in El Ejido, in the province of Almería, located at Avenida Príncipes de España 17. It provides specialised language teaching with official recognition throughout Spain. The school has departments of German, Spanish as a foreign language, French and English, and also offers English in a blended (semipresencial) format.
Spanish for foreigners (español lengua extranjera, ELE) is taught in classroom groups. The school holds the official Andalusian certificate exams (PEC) in Spanish at Intermediate B1 and Intermediate B2, and external candidates can register for Spanish certificate exams at Basic A2, Intermediate B1 and Intermediate B2. Classroom courses usually have two sessions of two and a quarter hours a week. Courses run from the second half of September to June, with final exams in June and September.
New students pre-register from 1 to 20 May and, once admitted, enrol from 1 to 10 July; if places remain, they can also enrol in July or September without pre-registration. The minimum age for classroom courses is 16 by 31 December. For the 2026-27 academic year, the enrolment fee for a new student is €81.41 for one language.

Public fees for the 2026-27 academic year (official and external enrolment), per language:
- New students: €81.41 (file opening €22.37, enrolment €50.09, general services €8.95)
- Returning students: €59.04
- Members of general-category large families pay half (€40.71 new, €29.52 returning)
Issuing an academic certificate costs €28.01 (€14 for general-category large families). Some groups, such as people with a disability of 33% or more, are exempt.
