ESEI International Business School
Higher education centre in Barcelona, Spain
ESEI International Business School is a business school in Barcelona offering bachelor's, master's and MBA programmes taught in English. It is authorised by the Catalan Department of Education (code 08075402) and is a Qualifi Approved Centre. Teaching follows project-based learning: students work on real company projects every semester, take part in business simulations and case studies, meet industry professionals in class and visit companies in Barcelona.

The BSc lasts three years, has intakes in October and February, requires a high school diploma and includes a three-month internship in the final year. Applicants send an application with supporting documents and then have an admission interview of about 30 minutes. Students from outside the EU need a Spanish student visa. For housing, ESEI works with partner providers; the school gives an average budget of €350-900 a month for a flat or room and €600-1,200 for a student residence.

In the BSc, years 1 and 2 are taught in Barcelona (foundations in management, marketing, finance and entrepreneurship). The final year is a UK Honours top-up degree completed online, awarded by Anglia Ruskin University or The University of Law Business School, combined with a three-month internship. Students with a relevant prior qualification can join directly through the top-up pathway.

Admission
Applicants complete an online application form (or send the downloadable form by email) with the required documents. After the documents are reviewed, ESEI invites the applicant to an admission interview of about 30 minutes. On confirmation of admission, the initial enrolment fee or the full fee is paid. The BSc (Hons) in Business Management requires a high school diploma. Students from outside the EU must apply for a Spanish student visa at the Spanish embassy in their country.
Housing
ESEI works with partners to help students find accommodation in Barcelona, and offers a practical guide to moving to the city.
- Private or shared apartments, the most common option: average budget €350-900 a month, through platforms such as HousingAnywhere or Uniplaces
- Student residences, often with meals, cleaning and shared facilities: average budget €600-1,200 a month
