Clinical training takes place in hospitals that host the faculty's Clinical Teaching Units (Unidades Clínicas Docentes), to which students are assigned. Undergraduate studies also involve supervised nursing placements (Prácticas Tuteladas en Enfermería), external internships and a final degree project (Trabajo Fin de Grado). The faculty's website presents the ANECA-WFME International Quality Seal, and the faculty works with the health research institutes linked to the UAM. It also runs a body donation programme for teaching and research, and has a procedure for accrediting students' level of English.
