Holy Mary British Catholic School is a private British and Catholic school in central Madrid for boys and girls aged 2 to 18. It follows the British Curriculum, and its oldest students currently study in Year 13 for A levels. The school was founded by Marta and María Riva de Aldama, who previously ran the Todo Niños centres for 20 years.
All teachers work within the British education system and trained in the United Kingdom or Ireland. Pupils' progress is tracked through regular assessments and external tests, including the Early Years Learning Goals, GL Assessment, CEM/Durham, IGCSEs and A levels, with termly reports for parents.
- Early Years Foundation Stage
- Key Stages 1 and 2 (Infant and Junior School)
- Key Stages 3 and 4 (Secondary), with IGCSEs
- Sixth Form (Years 12-13), with A levels and university guidance
The school has two sites in the 28002 area: Nursery 1 to Year 2 at Alfonso Rodríguez Santamaría 23-25, and Year 3 to Year 13 in connected buildings on Calle Cinca and Calle Arga. Catholic faith is central to school life, with pastoral care for each pupil. Families apply by filling in the form on the admissions page and are encouraged to book a visit.
