Instituto 42 (instituto cuarenta y dos) is a design school with central offices in Murcia and Madrid. It offers 14 programmes, made up of degrees, master's programmes and three-month courses.

Its two degrees, the Grado en Diseño de Interiores and the Grado en Diseño Gráfico, take four years and 240 ECTS credits and, according to the school, lead to an official qualification. They are taught in person in groups of 12 places, and the final year includes a 12-credit external work placement and a final degree project.

The school also runs eight-month master's programmes, taught in person, online live or in blended format:

• Graphic Design and Art Direction + AI
• Interior Design and Decoration + AI
• Commercial Space Design
• Toy Design
• Fashion Design and New Technologies

Short three-month courses cover subjects such as event design, UX/UI and AutoCAD. Students have access to a job board, placements and presentations to design studios. Guided visits take place every Thursday at 18:00.
