The Instituto Superior de Estudios Profesionales, now called CEU FP Madrid, is the Madrid vocational training (FP) centre of CEU, part of the Fundación Universitaria San Pablo CEU, which has been in education for more than 90 years. It is located at Calle Pirineos 55, next to the Dehesa de la Villa park in Madrid's university area. CEU FP also has campuses in Seville and the Valencia region.

The centre offers official FP de grado medio and grado superior and FP master's courses, in person, online or blended. Its professional areas include:

  • Computing and communications
  • Chemistry
  • Health
  • Sociocultural and community services

Examples are the higher FP qualifications in Multiplatform Application Development, Marketing and Advertising, and Audiovisual Projects and Shows. A dual FP option combines study with work in companies, and an FP + University programme leads to a university degree in three years; according to CEU, it has more than 9,000 internship agreements. Admission involves an application form, advice, a personal interview in which grades are assessed, and a reservation payment. International students can enrol with a passport but need an NIE to live in Spain.

Admission Requirements

Grado medio: ESO graduate certificate (Graduado en ESO) or equivalent, or a specific access test. Grado superior: Bachillerato, a Técnico (grado medio) qualification or a university degree, among other routes; otherwise the grado superior access test (minimum age 19 in the year of the test).

Applicants fill in a form, receive advice, attend a personal interview where their grades are assessed, and pay a reservation once admitted. International students can enrol with a passport but must apply for an NIE if they will live in Spain.
