La Trébola Montessori School is a private Montessori school in central Córdoba (Calle Villanueva del Rey 11) for children and teenagers from birth to 18. Classes mix three age groups, following the Montessori model. For Secondary and Bachillerato, the school is accredited by MSA-CESS (Middle States Association Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools) as a US school, and on completing the years equivalent to Grade 10 and Grade 12, students can have their studies recognised (homologación) in the Spanish system as ESO and Bachillerato.
- Comunidad Infantil (ages 0-3)
- Casa de Niños (ages 3-6)
- Taller (ages 6-12)
- Comunidad de Adolescentes: Secondary (12-15) and Bachillerato (15-18)
In the final years students choose between two routes: the American High School Diploma, with access to Spanish universities through UNED or PAU preparation, or a blended International Baccalaureate (IB) route with preparation for IGCSE and A levels. Secondary core subjects are Mathematics, Spanish Language and Literature and English, within the school's own bilingual programme. Admission starts with a visit and an interview with the family; places are allocated by order of application, with priority for siblings. Early morning care from 7:45 and an afternoon enrichment programme are offered.
