The British School of Córdoba (BSC) is a British international school in Córdoba, Andalusia, about 15 minutes from the city centre. It was inspected by the National Association of British Schools in Spain (NABSS), which recommended full authorisation to teach pupils aged 3 to 18, and the British Council has granted it full authorisation to operate. The school is also a Cambridge examination centre and has been inspected by the Junta de Andalucía.

  • Foundation / Early Years (ages 3-5)
  • Primary, Years 1-6, British National Curriculum (ages 5-11)
  • Secondary, Years 7-11, with Cambridge IGCSE exams (ages 11-16)
  • Sixth Form: IB Diploma Programme and AS/A Levels (ages 16-18)

Teaching follows the British curriculum in English, and secondary students also study the Spanish curriculum; the school states that this meets the requirements for recognition (convalidación) of ESO.

For international students BSC offers stays from one term to full enrolment, with intensive English support where needed; Spanish is not required for admission. A boarding residence about five minutes by car from the school offers 24-hour supervision, and the school provides transport for international students.
