Lycée International Barcelona – Bon Soleil (LIB Bon Soleil) is a French international school in Gavà, on the coast south of Barcelona, at Camí de la Pava 15. It is a school recognised by the French education system (établissement homologué) and part of the network of the Agency for French Education Abroad (AEFE). Pupils can attend from the age of two until they go to university, moving to a different building at each stage.
Schooling is organised in the stages of the French system, and French is the main language of instruction. Spanish, Catalan and English are taught from the first year of Maternelle, with gradual immersion for both French-speaking and non-French-speaking pupils.
- Maternelle (ages 3 to 6, Petite Section to Grande Section)
- École élémentaire (ages 6 to 11)
- Collège (6ème to 3ème)
- Lycée: Seconde, then the Bachibac, which leads to both the French baccalauréat and the Spanish bachillerato, or the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma
