The British College of Gavà (BCG) is a private British international school in Gavà, on the coast southwest of Barcelona, for students aged 3 to 18. It follows the British National Curriculum and is an IB World School. The green campus, with a Forest School, is a few minutes from Gavà beach.

Pupils move from the Early Years Foundation Stage (ages 3-5) through Primary (5-11) and Secondary (12-16), with IGCSEs at 14-16. In the Sixth Form (16-18) students choose between these pathways:

  • IB Diploma Programme (IBDP)
  • IB Career-related Programme (IBCP), with partners in sport (Barça Innovation Hub), the arts (Institute of the Arts Barcelona) and sustainability (SUMAS)
  • A Levels
  • e-Athletes Programme for competitive athletes (ages 12-18), leading to an American High School Diploma

Every Wednesday afternoon, the "Wednesdays Without Walls" programme offers more than 50 activities in sport, arts, technology and life skills, and students can take the Duke of Edinburgh's Award. The school states that students learn at least four languages, and university and careers counselling starts in Year 7. Applications are accepted all year round; from Year 4, applicants take an English assessment and a CAT4 test.
