Midwestern State University (MSU Texas) is a public university in Wichita Falls, Texas (United States), halfway between Oklahoma City and the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. It is part of the Texas Tech University System. Most classes have fewer than 30 students, and the university has about 450 international students.

MSU Texas offers more than 75 degree programmes across six colleges: Dillard College (business), Fain College (fine arts and communication), the Robert D. & Carol Gunn College of Health Sciences & Human Services, McCoy College (science, mathematics and engineering), Prothro-Yeager College (humanities and social sciences) and West College (education). Fields range from nursing, radiologic sciences and respiratory care to mechanical and electrical engineering, business, mass communication and Spanish, with pre-professional tracks in medicine, law and engineering. Students can add study abroad, undergraduate research or the Redwine Honors Program.

International undergraduates apply through the Mustang Advantage Application with official transcripts (translated into English if needed) and an English test such as TOEFL 79 or IELTS 6.0; SAT/ACT scores are optional for admission. The Global Education Office supports international students. Students live in residence halls or shared apartments on campus, with living-learning programmes for shared interests.
