Texas Woman's University (TWU) is a public university in Denton, Texas (United States), about 40 miles from the Dallas-Fort Worth area, with health science centres in Dallas and in Houston's Texas Medical Center. It describes itself as the largest university system in the US focused on women and is a member of the Women's College Coalition; of its 16,338 students, 89% are women and 11% men. TWU is celebrating 125 years.

TWU offers bachelor's, master's and doctoral programmes in nursing, education, health professions, nutrition, the arts and sciences and business, many fully or partially online, with an 18:1 student-to-faculty ratio. The Dallas and Houston centres focus on nursing, occupational and physical therapy, health care administration and nutrition.

International Student & Scholar Services supports F-1 and J-1 students on all three campuses. Not every programme is open to F-1 students, while degrees designated as STEM qualify for the STEM OPT extension. First-year and transfer applicants apply through ApplyTexas, graduate applicants through TWU's online portal. TWU offers more than US$15 million in scholarships a year.
