The Real Centro Universitario Escorial-María Cristina (RCU) is a university centre in San Lorenzo de El Escorial, near Madrid, affiliated to the Universidad CEU San Pablo. It was founded in 1892 by the Queen Regent María Cristina of Habsburg-Lorraine, and its campus is part of the architectural complex of the Royal Monastery of El Escorial, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1984.

- Own qualifications such as an expert diploma in pastoral education
- A one-week Spanish language, history, art and literature course for foreign students (B1 or higher), organised with the Instituto Cervantes
The degrees and the master's are official qualifications of the Universidad CEU San Pablo. Groups are smaller than at other universities, according to the centre, and students can do internships at law firms and companies; the centre states that 85% of its students find their first job within six months. Students can live in the centre's hall of residence (colegio mayor), and scholarships are available. San Lorenzo de El Escorial is about 40 to 65 minutes from Madrid by bus or commuter train.
