St. Mary's University is a private Catholic liberal arts university in San Antonio, Texas (United States), founded in the Marianist tradition; the Marianist brothers brought Catholic education to San Antonio in 1852, and the university describes itself as the oldest Catholic university in Texas. It welcomes students of all faiths. In fall 2026 it had 3,479 students, with an 11-to-1 student-to-faculty ratio, on a 135-acre campus.

St. Mary's offers bachelor's programmes in the humanities, sciences and business, master's and doctoral programmes, and law degrees at the St. Mary's University School of Law. Combined degrees let undergraduates pursue a bachelor's together with a master's or law degree.

International students apply with a free application and need, for example, TOEFL iBT 80 or IELTS 6.0. The Center for International Programs supports their transition and runs an Intensive English Program; international students are automatically enrolled in health insurance. The campus has 11 residence halls.
