UT Southwestern Medical Center is an academic medical center in Dallas, Texas, in the United States, with its main campus at 5323 Harry Hines Boulevard. Its mission covers education, research and patient care: preparing physicians, scientists and caregivers, carrying out research, and treating patients. According to the center, more than 4,000 learners are trained each year and faculty research receives over US$700 million a year in funding; it also lists six Nobel Prize laureates among its people.
Education is organised in four schools:

- School of Health Professions
- Peter O'Donnell Jr. School of Public Health
Its university hospital is the William P. Clements Jr. University Hospital, and Children's Health and Parkland Health are affiliated hospital systems; the main campus and seven regional medical centers are in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. UT Southwestern also runs nondegree programmes for high school, undergraduate and postgraduate students exploring careers in health and science, such as the Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF). Student services include a registrar, student accounting, financial aid and student life offices.
