The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) is a national research university in Arlington, Texas (United States), part of the UT System. Its 420-acre main campus lies between Dallas and Fort Worth; UTA also teaches in Fort Worth and online, and a new campus at Walsh Ranch (UTA West) is due to open in 2028. The institution began 130 years ago as a private school with 75 students.

UTA offers more than 180 bachelor's, master's and doctoral programmes across nine schools and colleges, including Architecture, Planning and Public Affairs, Business, Education, Engineering, Liberal Arts, Nursing and Health Innovation, Science and Social Work. Fast Track programmes let undergraduates earn graduate credit in their senior year.

International first-year applicants apply through the Common App or ApplyTexas; UTA is currently test optional for SAT/ACT. Non-native English speakers need TOEFL iBT 79 or IELTS 6.5. On campus, students can live in residence halls or in six apartment communities.
