Universidad Nacional de San Luis
University, Graduate school in San Luis, Argentina
The Universidad Nacional de San Luis (UNSL) is a public national university in the city of San Luis, Argentina. It was created in 1973, but its roots go back to 1939, when the Escuela Normal Juan Pascual Pringles of San Luis became part of the newly founded Universidad Nacional de Cuyo. The UNSL is organised into faculties, institutes and university centres, and it also runs the Escuela Normal Juan Pascual Pringles and an early-childhood school.
The university offers pre-degree (pregrado), degree (grado) and postgraduate courses, with more than 80 degree programmes open for pre-registration. Its faculties include a Faculty of Tourism and Urban Planning. Pre-registration for the 2027 academic year is done online and is open until February; applicants then submit their documents on dates set by each faculty.
Students have access to a student dining hall, student health services, an international office, UNSL and national scholarships, and a virtual campus. The university also has a cultural centre with workshops, cinema and exhibitions, as well as its own radio and TV channels.
