University in Tafira Baja, Spain
The Universidad del Atlántico Medio (UNAM) is a private university on Gran Canaria, in the Canary Islands. Its campus is at Carretera de Quilmes 37 in Tafira Baja, in the municipality of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, and has 4,735 m2 of buildings, sports facilities and gardens.
UNAM teaches bachelor's degrees on campus and, for several subjects, in a virtual (online) mode:
- Health: Medicine, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Psychology
- Law and business: Law, Business Administration
- Communication and digital creation: Film, Communication, Digital Creation, Animation and Video Game Development
- Education: Early Childhood and Primary Teaching
- Mathematical Engineering, Translation and Interpreting
Double degrees in Law and Business Administration and in Film and Communication are also offered. At postgraduate level there are official master's degrees, such as General Health Psychology, Access to the Legal Profession and an MBA, along with the university's own master's programmes and higher university diplomas. Admission to bachelor's degrees requires one of the Spanish legal access routes (Royal Decree 412/2014). The university has a mobility office for exchange students.

The university also offers its own master's programmes, for example in 2D and 3D Animation, Marketing, Advertising and Communication, and Business Taxation.
Admission
Bachelor's degrees: applicants must meet the access requirements of Royal Decree 412/2014, for example:
- Bachillerato or equivalent with the university entrance exam (PAU/EBAU)
- European or International Baccalaureate
- Higher vocational qualification (Técnico Superior de FP)
- Partial university studies in Spain or abroad, with at least 30 ECTS credits recognised
- Access exams for over-25s and over-45s, or professional experience for over-40s
Master's degrees: an official Spanish degree, a degree from the European Higher Education Area giving access to master's studies, or a degree from another system checked by the university as equivalent, without formal recognition (homologación).
