The Universidad Europea Miguel de Cervantes (UEMC) is a private university in Valladolid, founded in 2002. According to the university, its Valladolid campus has more than 4,500 students. Teaching is organised in three centres: the Escuela Politécnica Superior, the Faculty of Health Sciences and the Faculty of Social Sciences. The university states that it works with small groups and personalised support.
Its programmes include:
- Official bachelor's degrees (grados), double degrees and international degrees
- Official master's degrees, such as General Health Psychology, an MBA, Access to the Legal Profession and Secondary Teacher Training
- A doctoral programme
- The university's own master's, expert and specialist programmes and courses
- Online official bachelor's and master's degrees (UEMC online)
- Spanish courses for foreigners
Studies include work placements, and the university reports more than 1,500 agreements with companies. Students coming from vocational training (FP) have a specific access route, and UEMC students can apply for both public and private scholarships.
