Université Amar Telidji de Laghouat (Amar Telidji University of Laghouat) is a university in Laghouat, Algeria. It was first established in 1986 as a higher school that trained secondary and technical teachers in mechanical, civil and electrical engineering. In 1997 it became a university centre, and in 2001 it was restructured as a university, initially with three faculties: science and technology, economics and management, and law and social sciences. It later received new teaching facilities to house a faculty of medicine.
Teaching follows the LMD system: licence (bachelor's-level) programmes have been offered since the 2006-07 academic year and master's programmes since 2009-10. According to the university, 156 specialisations have been opened at licence and master's level. Admission to third-cycle doctoral training is through a national competition, which has been announced for the 2026-27 academic year. The university also publishes calls for international scholarships, such as DAAD scholarships, and has adopted an ISO 9001:2015 quality policy.
