It also has an Institute for Creative Innovation in Xiamen, China.
UCA offers undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, research degrees and short courses in subjects including:

- Fashion and textiles, crafts and fine art

For international students there are integrated foundation years, integrated pre-masters programmes and pre-sessional English courses, and graduates can apply for the UK Graduate visa to work in the UK for two years. Applications for many courses involve a portfolio and a personal statement. UCA has halls of residence at its Canterbury, Epsom and Farnham campuses and a rent guarantor service for students renting privately.

UK undergraduate applicants apply through UCAS, while international students apply by set deadlines for January and September entry, followed by deposit and CAS (visa document) deadlines.
International undergraduate tuition fees (first year):
- 2026/27: £18,000 for BA/BSc (Hons), including degrees with an Integrated Foundation Year and top-up degrees
- 2027/28: £19,800
- Pre-sessional English 2026/27: £2,540 (6 weeks) or £4,320 (10 weeks)
For overseas undergraduates, fees rise by 4% for each later year of study. For 2026/27 entry, EU students receive the UCA Creative Europe Scholarship, which reduces fees to the UK rate (£9,790 in 2026/27).
International students:
- January 2027 entry: apply by 4 January 2027; deposit by 8 January 2027; CAS by 15 January 2027
- September 2027 entry: apply by 20 August 2027; deposit and CAS request by 3 September 2027
For 2026/27 entry, EU undergraduates are automatically awarded the UCA Creative Europe Scholarship, which reduces tuition to the UK fee for the whole course, with no application form. UCA also offers other scholarships and fee discounts, and a limited International Student Fund helps international and EU students facing an unexpected financial crisis.
UCA has halls of residence at its Canterbury, Epsom and Farnham campuses, with information for January entrants and students with specific requirements. For private renting, the UCA Rent Guarantor Service with Housing Hand provides a UK guarantor for UK, EU and overseas students; the discounted fee is 5% of annual rent paid upfront or 5.5% paid monthly, with a minimum of £295.
