Plymouth Marjon University (legal name: University of St Mark & St John) is a university on a green campus on Derriford Road in Plymouth, Devon, about 15 minutes' drive from the city centre and within reach of the South Devon coast. According to the university, it was rated Gold in the 2023 Teaching Excellence Framework.

All programmes include some form of work placement. At postgraduate level, Marjon offers taught courses (many part-time), teacher training, research degrees and two fully online master's programmes in Education and Management, as well as professional development for educators at Marjon University Cornwall in Truro. The campus has seven halls of residence and a student village of 38 houses, three dining outlets and a sports centre with a pool and gym; international short-stay students can live with a host family in Plymouth. Applications are welcomed from people of all ages and each is considered on its individual merits. Undergraduates apply through UCAS or the university's Apply Direct service; applications received after the UCAS deadline are still considered for courses with places available. Some courses include an interview, and applicants must meet the university's minimum English language requirements.
Tuition fees per year, 2026/27 academic year:
- Undergraduate and foundation degrees: £15,200 for non-UK students (£9,790 for home students)
- MPhil and PhD (2026-27): £16,000 full-time or £8,914 part-time for non-UK students
Fees for later years of a course increase in line with government annual increases. Professional accreditation fees may apply.
Marjon has seven halls of residence and a student village of 38 houses on campus, owned and managed by the university. Rent includes contents insurance, utilities and broadband, and resident students have 24/7 support from duty staff and senior resident students during term. There are three dining outlets on campus. International short-stay students can stay with a selected host family in Plymouth.
