VU Sydney is the Sydney campus of Victoria University (VU), an Australian university based in Melbourne that has been teaching for more than 100 years. VU offers a number of its courses to international students at the Sydney campus, which, according to the university, welcomes students from over 45 countries. VU states that it is ranked in the top 3% of universities worldwide in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2026.
Courses at VU Sydney are listed in the 2026 VU Sydney and Brisbane course guide; recent additions are the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and Leadership. As at all VU campuses, teaching follows the VU Block Model, in which students study one subject at a time.
To apply, international students first speak to the Sydney student services team, then prepare certified copies of their academic transcripts or certificates, a current CV with a position description and a supporting letter from their employer, and submit the application online through VU's Admissions Centre. All international applicants must meet academic and English language requirements; VU accepts IELTS Academic, TOEFL iBT, PTE Academic and Cambridge Advanced (CAE) results taken no more than two years before the course starts.
