  • CIFP Los Viveros

Seville, Spain In an official register

CIFP Los Viveros is a public integrated vocational training centre in Sevilla, Spain. It is listed in the State Register of Non-University Schools (Registro Estatal de Centros Docentes no Universitarios) of the Spanish Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports…

Seville (Sevilla), the capital of Andalusia, had 689,423 registered residents on 1 January 2025, according to the Spanish statistics institute (INE). Beyond its universities, the city has private centres that train people for a specific profession: hospitality and cooking, flamenco, public teaching posts and workplace skills.

Most of the centres in this section of our directory award their own qualifications rather than the official vocational training (FP) titles of the Spanish education system. Knowing the difference helps you choose the right course for your plans.

Official FP and private professional training

Official FP in Spain is organised in basic, intermediate (grado medio) and higher (grado superior) cycles. In hospitality, for example, the official titles include Técnico en Cocina y Gastronomía, Técnico Superior en Dirección de Cocina and Técnico Superior en Gestión de Alojamientos Turísticos, according to TodoFP, the Ministry of Education's FP portal. Centres that teach official FP appear in the general register of FP centres, and each region has its own search tool for them. Private schools can also offer their own diplomas, which are often shorter or more specialised but are not official FP titles.

Its online school offers more than 90 programmes

Costs

These centres are private and set their own prices, which they usually give on request or in course brochures. Compare the cost and the type of qualification before you enrol. For international students, some schools ask for payment in advance: at the Fundación Cristina Heeren, students from outside the European Union must pay the whole year in advance to receive the admission certificate they need for a student visa.

Practical tips

  • Check whether the course leads to an official FP title, a university's own qualification or a school certificate, especially if you want to work in a regulated profession or study further
  • Students from outside the EU need a student visa; ask the school early for the documents required
  • Look for accommodation in time: some schools, such as the Fundación Cristina Heeren, leave students to find their own housing and only provide a list of rooms and flats
  • Courses start on fixed dates: at the Escuela Superior de Hostelería, the higher diploma in cooking and gastronomy started on 28 September 2026
