Assumption University is a Roman Catholic university in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, rooted in the tradition of the Basilian Fathers. Its origins go back to Assumption College, which opened on 10 February 1857. Since 1962 it has been federated with the University of Windsor, and the site states that it is the only university federated with it. Its offices are in UWindsor Assumption Hall, 400 Huron Church Road.
The university's current academic offer is the online Graduate Diploma in Catholic Studies. Courses carry 3.00 credits each and cover topics such as:

- Catholicism and Social Justice
- Catholicism and Dialogue
- Catholicism Around the Globe
- Capstone project and major paper in Catholic Studies
Applicants complete an online form and send an official undergraduate transcript; the Graduate Studies Committee reviews each application. Students are admitted for the Fall, Winter and Spring terms. International applications are welcome, but because the programme is online the university cannot sponsor student visas. Assumption University also runs a campus ministry and offers scholarships.

Admission
Applicants to the Graduate Diploma in Catholic Studies complete the online application form and attach (or email to the Registrar) one official undergraduate transcript. The Graduate Studies Committee reviews complete applications and the Registrar communicates the decision. Applicants are accepted for the Fall, Winter and Spring terms. International applicants are welcome, but the university cannot sponsor student visas because the programme is online.
