Every student must meet Bond's standard entry requirements; international students must also provide evidence of English language proficiency. Each programme then sets its own criteria, which may include prior studies and results, prerequisite subjects, portfolios and, in some cases, work experience. Students who do not yet meet the requirements may be eligible for a pathway programme. Applications are made directly to Bond through a free online portal.

Bond has on-campus accommodation, from halls of residence and ensuite singles to twin rooms, open to degree students as well as study abroad and exchange students. All on-campus rooms include a compulsory dining plan, WiFi, air conditioning, laundry facilities and housekeeping.

Off campus, students can choose studio rooms, apartments, homestay or shared accommodation, and the university's housing support staff help with the search.
