Bournemouth University

Bournemouth University (BU) is a university on the south coast of England. Its two main campuses are Talbot, where the on-campus sports facilities and the Students' Union are based, and Lansdowne, home to the Bournemouth Gateway Building with healthcare simulation suites, the Weston Library and student accommodation. Midwifery students are taught at a branch campus at Lakeside North Harbour in Portsmouth, and BU also works with further and higher education colleges in Dorset, Wiltshire and Somerset.

BU offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses through three faculties:

• Faculty of Business and Law: Bournemouth University Business School and School of Law and Society
• Faculty of Health, Environment & Medical Sciences: health and care, allied health and exercise sciences, life and environmental sciences
• Faculty of Media, Science and Technology: Media School, National Centre for Computer Animation (NCCA), computing and engineering, psychology

According to the university, 90% of its graduates are in work or further study (Longitudinal Educational Outcomes 2026).
