Caribbean University
University, Graduate school in Bayamón, Puerto Rico
Caribbean University is a private, non-profit, coeducational and non-sectarian university in Puerto Rico. It traces its origins to Caribbean Junior College, founded in Bayamón in 1969, and has used the name Caribbean University since January 1990. The university received its first accreditation from the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools in 1977. Today it is made up of a central administration and main campus in Bayamón and three centres in Carolina, Vega Baja and Ponce.
The university states that it offers more than 50 academic programmes:

- Associate degrees
- Bachelor's degrees, including an accelerated study mode
- Master's degrees
- Doctorate
Undergraduate and graduate applicants use separate application forms, and graduate applicants submit a letter of recommendation. Home-schooled applicants provide a homeschooling certification, and former students apply through a readmission form. The admissions office also offers orientation sessions, and the website explains how to complete the FAFSA for US federal student aid. The central administration is at Carretera 167 Km 21.2 in Bayamón.
