Christelijke Hogeschool Ede

The Christelijke Hogeschool Ede (CHE) is a Dutch university of applied sciences (hogeschool) in Ede, with a second location in Dordrecht. Its learning environment is inspired by Christian values. The CHE offers bachelor's degrees, master's programmes, associate degrees, post-graduate professional courses (post-hbo), minors and shorter courses, in fields such as:

  • Business, entrepreneurship and HRM
  • Primary teacher training (pabo) and education
  • Social work
  • Theology
  • Communication and journalism
  • ICT
  • Nursing, play therapy and general-practice care

Programmes can be followed full time (on average four days a week at the CHE), part time+ (one day a week on campus alongside a job) or part time (one day every three weeks), and students can adapt their pace through flexible study. The CHE carries out applied research linked to the professions it trains for, and students can take part through placements, final projects or learning communities. Prospective students can attend open days, trial study days or shadow a student for a day. The CHE states that there is good and affordable student housing in Ede.
