The Escola Superior de Disseny Felicidad Duce now operates as LCI Barcelona, a private school of design and visual arts in Barcelona. Felicidad Duce Ripollés founded her fashion school-workshop in 1928; in 2013 the school was acquired by the Canadian network LCI Education, which made it its European campus, and its fashion school continues as part of LCI Barcelona. LCI Education is made up of 12 higher education institutions on five continents.
LCI Barcelona teaches fashion, graphic design, interior design, product design, animation, video games and photography. It offers:
- bachelor's degrees
- higher vocational training cycles (CFGS)
- master's and postgraduate programmes
- continuing education, including four online business master's programmes starting in January 2027
Its private higher arts education centre is authorised by the Department of Education of the Generalitat de Catalunya to teach official studies at ISCED levels 6 and 7, and its vocational training centre at level 5; the official programmes are accredited by AQU, the Catalan university quality agency. The school's 11,000 m² campus is in Barcelona's 22@ innovation district. According to the school, about 40% of its students are international. A careers service offers professional advice, job-search support and internships, and applications are accepted all year round.
