Centro Universitario Cardenal Cisneros (CUCC)

The Centro Universitario Cardenal Cisneros (CUCC) is a private university centre affiliated with the Universidad de Alcalá (UAH). It has its own campus at Avenida Jesuitas 34 in Alcalá de Henares (Madrid) and trains teachers, social educators and psychologists.
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (Magisterio de Educación Infantil), on site or blended with Saturday classes
- Bachelor's degree in Primary Education (Magisterio de Educación Primaria), including an English-taught group and a blended option
- Bachelor's degree in Social Education
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, with an English-taught option from 2026-27
- Double degrees in Teaching, and in Psychology and Teaching
- Master's degrees in Attention to Diversity and Educational Support, and in General Health Psychology
The degrees are official; the Early Childhood Education degree, for example, lasts four years (240 ECTS credits). Teaching uses methods such as problem- and challenge-based learning and cooperative learning. Admission to bachelor's degrees is through the pre-registration process of the Madrid single district (Distrito Único), and English-taught teaching groups require a B1 English certificate or a level test at the centre. As a private centre affiliated with the UAH, the CUCC charges private tuition, and students also pay public enrolment fees to the UAH.

Admission
Admission to bachelor's degrees follows the general procedure of the Madrid single district (Distrito Único): applicants pre-register online, listing up to twelve degrees in order of preference, and enrol once admitted. Requirements:
- Pass the university entrance exam (PAU/EvAU) or meet another access route, such as higher vocational training (CFGS) or a previous degree; students from foreign education systems have their own access group
- Primary Education: at least 5 in the Spanish Language and Literature exam of the PAU, or an admission grade of 9 or higher (6 or higher for other access routes)
- English-taught teaching groups: official B1 English certificate or a level test at the centre
The CUCC does not charge place-reservation payments for bachelor's degrees.
Fees
Fees for the 2026-27 academic year (first-year prices). Bachelor's degrees combine private tuition paid to the CUCC with public enrolment fees paid to the Universidad de Alcalá:
- Bachelor's degrees: €68 per credit, €4,080 a year for 60 ECTS (payable in 9 instalments), plus a €250 administration fee in the first year
- Double degree in Teaching (72 ECTS): €4,896 a year; Psychology + Teaching (78 ECTS): €5,304 a year
- UAH public enrolment fee for bachelor's degrees: €16.92 per credit, €1,015.20 a year
- Máster Universitario en Atención a la Diversidad y Apoyos Educativos: €4,200 in total
- Máster Universitario en Psicología General Sanitaria: €8,340 in total (€5,560 first year, €2,780 second year)
Master's prices include public and private fees.
