The Institute for European Studies is part of the San Pablo-CEU University and is a Jean Monnet European Centre of Excellence. It was established in 1999, and specializes in university research, in the study and analysis of European Union affairs as well as other aspects of international relations. Some of the more interesting programs it offers are the Master in International Business Law, the Master in International Relations, and the Master in European Union. The main goal of the center is to serve as a centre of reference for researching, teaching and publishing in different areas related to the European integration process.
