The associate of science degree in international business is designed to prepare students for success in today’s competitive marketplace. Courses include English, science, mathematics, foreign languages, English and business administration as well as applications of economics and the psychology of marketing. Graduates will be able to analyze how finances, trade and relations affect decisions, adapt strategies and construct management processes, apply ethical codes of conduct, learn computer skills for international business and learn how to communicate effectively for negotiations and persuasion, all in the international environment.
The Bachelor of Science in International Business degree program is designed to provide each students the skills and specialization needed to succeed as an international business executive. Students learn about the social, economical, and political conditions of different countries. Graduates will have learned how to use business techniques to resolve international business challenges, assess global factors to develop market and business strategies to compete in the international market and analyze issues facing countries and businesses around the globe.
The Master of Business Administration focuses on the following areas: International Marketing, Marketing Psychology, Management, Finance, Economics, Linguistic, Social, Economic and Political Conditions. Graduates will be able to apply business skills and practices to international markets, communicate effectively in business, work efficiently with others and research and analyze data in the business environment.
With our International Summer School program students will have the opportunity to discover Barcelona while developing their business skills through an exciting range of activities. Students will get to wander through Barcelona’s best neighborhoods, see Gaudi’s famous architecture, tour the Camp Nou of FC Barcelona and visit nearby towns. Upon completion students will have an excellent understanding of international business and be equipped with the skill and knowledge to succeed. Courses include Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Business Communication, Cross-cultural Business Issues and Negotiation.
The MBA in International Business equips students with the skills necessary for an increasing global market. The program includes extensive case-studies on a wide range of topics related to business, law, finance, management and media communications. Courses include Business Policy and Strategy, International Finance and Technology and Change Management. Graduates can pursue work in Trade services, Government agencies, Non-profits and Multinationals.
Exploring cultural differences in business practices around the world is a core component of SLU-Madrid’s international business program. Students cover modules on importing, exporting, foreign direct investment, international services and foreign licensing.
At Saint Louis University, a student of international business will learn about the application of international business practices in the current marketplace and its effect. The international business academic program is completely integrated into the St. Louis campus and students will learn how variances in work attitudes, economics, politics, language, social interaction and social structures impact global commerce.
Students pursuing an international business degree need to select 15 credit hours, from at least three of the fifteen different areas on offer.

Studying a minor in international business at Suffolk University will teach students how to think globally and consider business strategies from an international standpoint. Students will investigate worldwide business theories, like outsourcing, foreign direct investment and international ethics. Students will then learn how to employ the strategies to the workplace.
Business students will be required to complete three elective courses (9 credit hours) and College of Arts & Sciences students must complete five elective courses (15 credit hours).
