The Universitat Abat Oliba CEU (UAO CEU) is a private university in Barcelona and one of the four universities of the CEU group. According to the university, it has been training professionals for more than 50 years, and more than 15,000 students have studied there. It has two campuses, Bellesguard (Calle Bellesguard 30) and Esplugues.
Its bachelor's degrees (grados) and double degrees cover six academic areas:
- Law and Political Science
- Business and Economics
- Communication
- Education and Humanities
- Health, including a new degree in Medicine
- Sport, through the affiliated VITAE school
Most degrees take four years (240 ECTS) and double degrees four and a half to five years; some, such as Business Administration and Primary Education, are offered as bilingual degrees. The university also offers master's and postgraduate programmes. Students can take part in Erasmus or spend a semester at partner universities in the United States, Mexico and the Netherlands.
Admission to bachelor's degrees uses the university's own online admission test, alongside the PAU or other official access routes; bilingual degrees add an online English test. The university runs its own scholarship programme with more than 60 awards for bachelor's students.

Admission
Bachelor's admission uses the university's own free online test (general knowledge plus a test related to the chosen degree), taken alongside the PAU or other official access route. Students with a mark of 8 or more in the first year of bachillerato are exempt; bilingual degrees add an online English test, and Medicine requires an in-person exam. Applicants upload their ID or passport and school transcripts. Once admitted, a place can be reserved for €1,500 (€2,500 for Medicine), deducted from first-year fees.
Scholarships and financial aid
- CEU Merit Program: more than 60 merit scholarships for bachelor's degrees, covering either the full cost or 65% of tuition, renewable each year
- Family discounts: 15% for large or single-parent families (20% for special-category large families)
- 10% discount for CEU alumni and children of alumni
- Means-tested grants of €1,000 to €3,000
- Honours (matrícula de honor) discounts and a study-aid programme for master's students (PAEM)
